Staking days for rewards

When the staking system was released in October 2023, I put my Kong NFT into 30 day staking period. When it was over, I did not use the option to restake my Kong for another period for free. So it was put into indefinite staking automatically, and the staking days have continued to be tracked. Now I've been 64 days in staking and able to activate Mars and Jupiter rewards for free. That's because I didn't click Stop Staking button, or Restake button when it appeared at the end of my initial 30 day staking period. I'm looking forward to activating Saturn in 34 days for free by keeping my Kong in staking.

The staking system considers any restake as an unstake and a new stake.

There is no Restake button if you are currently in staking. You cannot stake from being already in staking, you need to unstake first. But if you unstake now, you will lose your days in staking for the next level of rewards, and have to pay for another staking period or for opening up the rewards.

So any restake, even the free one within 24 hours after the end of the staking period, will result in losing the track of days in staking for rewards. The staking system processes it as unstaking and staking again.

Unfortunately, you cannot switch from indefinite staking to a period staking without losing your track of days in staking. You unstake and stake again, losing your days in staking.

However, if you keep your Kongs in indefinite staking, you'll get to open the rewards by reaching the planet milestones eventually.

So happy staking!
